Provincials are a week away and it looks like it's going to be a sunny and warm. The meet program is now finalized and here it it.
As promised, here are the full results and team scoring. The performances of the athletes and the work of all the volunteers and officials were a fantastic end to the Fraser Valley Championships of the last 50 years (as was heard being said by an official and coach).
Thank you to all the BC Athletics officials that volunteered their time, coaches and schools for helping run the events, and the executive of the Fraser Valley Track and Field Commission for their work and years of service. Next year, we are split up into new zones but we'll see each other again at provincials in 2020. But, we do have one last provincial championship as the Fraser Valley in Kelowna, see you all again in 2 weeks.
Another day of great performances completed and the weather began to cooperate part way through the meet. Here are the results for day 1 and 2 together. One more day and let's make it a good one!
What a great start to the final Fraser Valley Championships, as we know it. The weather cooperated and the athletes performed very well. Here are the day 1 results. Let's hope the weather clears up a bit for day 2.
Here are the meet program and the school rosters for the Fraser Valley Championships. There will not be any printed meet programs available at the track.
You can now start registering your athletes for the Fraser Valley Championships.
The deadline for registrations is Wednesday, May 8th at 11:00pm PST. One of the easiest ways to make changes and keep track of your qualifying athletes is to use the spreadsheet that you can download then import your entire team at once. Also remember to register with the school's full name NOT the mascot name or abbreviation.
